RMSK is a physician and advanced care provider level certification that requires prerequisites including holding a relevant degree and having clinical experience in ultrasound with a minimum of 150 diagnostic ultrasounds performed. The exam covers five key areas: general sonographic anatomy (26%), general sonographic pathology (23%), ultrasound-guided interventional procedures (18%), integration of data (7%), and physics and instrumentation (26%).
